Too Stress? Try these:
Stress is a thing in the mind that governs your emotions. That’s what it is to me. Unless you have a very strong mind power, the following might help in relieving some stress off:-
- Place your hand on your tummy and watch it rise as you inhale for a count of 3 or 4; hold your breath for the same count, and then exhale for as long as comfortable and watch your belly fall. The key to this is ‘WATCHING’ your tummy rise and fall somehow calms the restless spirit.
- Wake up to a dream. Each morning think of something good while you are still on your pillow. Something that you like to do, like to listen to, like to see. Something that instantly makes you feel happy. This is to train your mind to stay focus on happiness even if something goes wrong that day.
- Unpredictable and sudden events are often the biggest culprit to increasing our stress level. Hence to better prepare our minds for such surprises, try to do something new to yourself, small changes like a cup of coffee instead of usual tea or sign up for a class.
- Start off the week really well. Hence make Monday FUNday! Do what you love most on all Mondays and it will be an easier week ahead.
- After work, walk home or listen to music at a pretty scenic spot before stepping through your door. It is NOT A WASTE OF TIME. Just spend a good 15minutes. It helps to decompress and transition back to home life.
